As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Energia Limited (Energia) in conjunction with other cluster members collaborated to provide support to the Delta State Government in its fight against the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The support was in the area of supply of food items to the State for distribution to the worst hit communities and also a Nissan Pick–up truck NP300, to help with mobility. Details of the food items presented alongside the vehicle include Two Hundred and Seventy (270) 50kg bags of rice, Two Hundred and Seventy (270) cartons of noodles, One Hundred and Eighty (180) Cartons of satchet tomatoes, Two Thousand (2,000) cartons of Honeywell regular combo family pack, One Hundred and Thirteen (113) 100kg bags of beans and some other items. In addition to the State level donation, Energia along with the Cluster also donated food items to the Ndokwa West Local Government to assist in their palliative distribution efforts.
The donations were well received by representatives of the Governor and our own Emmanuel Ebie, was at the presentation ceremony on behalf of the company.
Energia had also made donations at the community level to all the Six communities in our areas of operations.
